DAY 1: Silverswift Snorkel & Cruise

Ready to whisk you away for a day of fun and adventure on the outer Great Barrier Reef, Silverswift is a luxury 29 metre catamaran custom-designed for the thrill of diving and snorkelling. Visiting three different outer reef sites, you’ll have 5 hours to explore spectacular coral formations and underwater gardens awash with vibrantly coloured marine creatures. Silverswift has exclusive access to an amazing selection of 19 quality reef sites at Flynn, Pellowe, Milln and Thetford Reefs. The sites visited daily are selected to best suit the day’s conditions and maximum experiences. Unlimited adventure snorkelling is included in your day, with the option of introductory and certified diving at an additional cost.

With superb onboard amenities, you’ll be travelling in comfort and style. Silverswift features air-conditioned cabins, spacious sundeck areas, hot freshwater showers, change rooms and even a licenced bar. The large dive and snorkel platform provides easy water access for all water activities and the state-of-the-art ride control system helps ensure a smooth journey, even when travelling at up to 32 knots.

DAY 2: Cape Tribulation, Daintree & Mossman Gorge

Travel in air-conditioned comfort in one of Down Under Tours’ luxury purpose built vehicles to Cape Tribulation, through World Heritage listed Daintree and Cape Tribulation National Park. Included is a Daintree River cruise, tropical lunch set amongst the rainforest and a walk on the famous Cape Tribulation beach, named by Captain James Cook in 1770. Enjoy an indigenous presentation and a driver/guided tour at the Mossman Gorge Centre before the homeward journey.

On the one-hour Daintree River Cruise, learn about this wildlife environment, habitat of birds, tree snakes, unique plants and of course the estuarine crocodile. At the Alexandra Lookout enjoy spectacular views over the Daintree  River estuary, Snapper Island and beyond to the Coral Sea. Tropical Lunch is served at a private rainforest property. Here you can also take a short walk along a rainforest creek.

At Cape Tribulation, take a walk on this world-renowned rainforest beach and admire the coastline and fringing coral reef from the Kulki Lookout. The Mossman Gorge Centre highlights include an indigenous presentation by the traditional owners of the gorge, the Kuku Yalanji people, before boarding your eco shuttle for the transfer into Mossman Gorge. Your driver guide will take you for a guided walk, sharing knowledge and secrets of this enchanting environment, one of the world’s oldest rainforests.

Make a booking

Day 1 is self-drive to Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal. Coach transfers are available at an additional cost. 

Additional Cost - *EMC

A Government Environmental Management Charge of $7.00 is levied for all adults and children 4 years and over entering the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area. *  EMC is waivered for travel up to 30 June 2023.

  • Children: 4 -14 years; Children 3 years and under cruise for free.
  • Minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years. Medical conditions apply.
